Zoom AI Make Your Work Easier

Zoom is stepping up its artificial intelligence game. Starting later this month, the platform’s AI Companion will get a major boost, allowing it to handle tasks for users automatically.

From scheduling follow-up meetings to generating documents and even creating video clips, Zoom’s AI is here to take some of the workload off your plate.

New Features to Look Forward To

Zoom isn’t stopping with AI-powered scheduling. The company is rolling out several new features to enhance productivity:

  • AI-Powered Task Management: A new Tasks tab in Zoom Workplace will help users manage their to-dos effortlessly. The AI Companion will suggest action items based on meetings, so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Voice Recorder for Mobile: Zoom’s Workplace mobile app will soon include a voice recorder that records, transcribes, and summarizes in-person meetings. This feature launches later this month, making it easier to keep track of conversations.
  • Live Notes in Real-Time: Coming in May, Zoom will introduce live notes, allowing users to generate real-time meeting and phone call summaries. No more frantic note-taking!

Best of all, these AI-powered tools will be free for all Zoom Workplace users, no extra cost.

Smarter Meetings, Less Hassle

Zoom’s Chief Product Officer, Smita Hashim, explains the vision: “We see AI stretching across every part of every product and interaction, helping users do more.

Our AI Companion touches every product, bringing everything together so users can get their work done efficiently.”

Custom AI Companions: A Personalized Touch

In addition to free AI features, Zoom is launching a Custom AI Companion add-on for $12/month. This premium option allows users to create AI avatars of themselves, which can send messages to teams.

If you’re not ready to invest, Zoom is also adding free, generic AI avatars for everyone.

AI is the Future of Work

As AI continues to integrate into workplace tools, Zoom’s latest upgrades make it clear: the future is about working smarter, not harder. AI is reshaping the way we collaborate, eliminating mundane tasks and freeing up valuable time for strategic and creative work.

With AI-driven automation, employees can focus on high-value activities rather than administrative duties, improving efficiency and productivity across industries. The growing presence of AI in the workplace means that businesses must adapt to remain competitive.

AI tools like Zoom’s AI Companion are not just conveniences, they are becoming essential assets in modern workflows. Companies that embrace these innovations will be better positioned for success in an increasingly digital world.
