Head-to-head comparisons
Two tools at a time, on the things that decide the purchase: price per employee, country coverage, payroll, integrations and support. Each comparison ends with which team should pick which tool.
Our method
Every comparison is built from our full reviews of both products, so the scores and prices match what you see on each product review. We read the vendor's own pricing pages and documentation, check public user reviews, and run demos where a vendor offers one. Marketing claims we can't verify stay out.
Both products are scored side by side, so you can see where each one leads before reading the detail.
Starting prices as each vendor publishes them, per employee or per month. Quote-only plans are marked as custom pricing.
What each tool does better, where it falls short, and the gaps that tend to show up after you sign.
Each comparison closes with a recommendation by team type, not a single winner for everyone.
Start broader
Start with a ranked list for your category, shortlist two or three tools, then come back for the head-to-head.
FAQ
No. Payment doesn't change a score or a recommendation. Vendors can be listed for free, and any sponsored placement on the site is labeled. We earn a commission when some readers sign up through our links, and that doesn't affect scores either. The details are on our About page.
From each vendor's own pricing page and documentation, not third-party sites. Your quote can still differ: many HR tools price by headcount, contract length and add-ons, and Employer of Record fees usually exclude statutory employer costs. Where a vendor discloses extras such as deposits, we call them out.
It comes from our full review of each product, which rates factors such as pricing, ease of use, features and support with equal weight. Our scores often run lower than user review sites because they count costs and gaps that show up after purchase, like extra fees or missing integrations.
Every comparison shows its last-updated date. We review product data weekly, and when a reader reports a change we check it against the vendor's documentation before updating the page.
Yes. Send us the two tools and what you're trying to decide. Requests from buyers help us choose which comparisons to write next.
